There is only one reality. We all live in the same world at the same time and reality isn’t altered by the perceptions of each individual. We all perceive reality differently, but it’s important to understand that what is true for one person is true for all, when you are talking about what is as opposed to the way what is is perceived.

I really think the definition of reality is what actually exists - so on one can have their 'own' version of reality.

Um.... no. I believe in transcendent perceptions and experiences but I don't believe there's any reality but reality.

Modern science does, or atleast the current contender for our understanding the the universe, aka String Theory. String Theory states that there are countless universes parallel to this one. Check out wikipedia's write up.
