No I haven't ever named kids that, nor would I. Of course they would be given a hard time. I used to like the name Candy until my mother pointed out that guys might use the phrase "I want a piece of Candy" so that nipped that one. Before naming your children you should consider what kind of detrimental teasing they will incur.

Fanny was at one time a very popular name for a girl, and Dick is just the nickname for Richard. While you may find them prurient, they have only recently come into their present day meanings, and many people still regard them as perfectly good, if somewhat old-fashioned, names.

Dick could call himself Richard, & Fanny could add an "r" & call herself "Franny".
