And if so, what is it called? When is it, 14th of Feb ?
How can I wish "Happy Valentine's Day" to my friends there.
And what are the main principles of the day there?

Many questions, I know. Thanks if you can help me with them :)

Yes, Spain does Valentines day.
In Spain, the wives give gifts to the husband while the husband gives flowers to his wife.
The day is also February 14 as St. Valentine died on February 14, 269 AD.
You can wish a "Happy Valentine's Day" by sending flowers, or a postcard, or just with a phone call or an email :)

Saint Valentine's day is not a traditional Spanish celebration, but during the last years it has become more and more popular. And now many Spaniards are celebrating it. To say Happy Saint Valentine's Day, it would be Feliz el día de los Enamorados. Hope I helped!

There is a Roman Catholic feast of Saint Valentine on 14 February all over the world, but it seems to be celebrated mainly in English speaking countries and according to what I have been able to discover the whole business of sending valentines, etc. etc. was imported into Europe from the USA. http://www.elmundo.es/papel/hemeroteca/1994/02/13/7dias/5135.html

You can usually say "Felicidades" on an occasion like this.

Yes, it is also celebrated in Spain but less than in the US.

Of course it is on the 14th of February.

It is called "Día de San Valentín" -
It is lovers´ day (or persons in love) - "Día de los Enamorados"
