My face has cleared up a lot. I used to have a lot of zits, but they're all gone. When I see my face theres a lot of faded red dots still, from the pimples. When i touch my face it feels great, i cant feel any bumps.

The red marks are scar tissue....If you left the acne alone and cleansed the area twice a day, the possibility of scarring could be lessened. Do not pick at the acne as it just spreads the fluid and could cause infection which is common and leaves scars behind.....To answer your question, I would use the number one remedy I recommend for this sort of thing. If the scar is less then a year old, go to the pharmacy/drug store and buy some vitamin E capsules. Poke the capsule till the gel like liquid comes out and apply it to your acne and scars...it should help the situation but you need to put it on regularly (twice a day if possible) to ensure the healing process...... Another good thing to use for scars and stretch marks etc is coco butter lotions and/or moisturizers........It has a ton of vitamen E......I would not recommend this for your face though as the other ingredients may or may not worsen things. Stick with the capsules because it is real vitamin e and not much else......

That song by the RED hot Chili Peppers just came to mind...Scar tissue that I wish you saw.......for you it would be Scar tissue that I wish you didn't see........." anyway good luck....
If that does not work it would help to see a dermatologist as there are a variety of medications that could help with the problem but I do not recommend it...if you can stay natural then stay natural one of the chemicals often used for acne problems is a product called tetracycline and it is nasty.Plus it bleaches anything that it comes into contact with like your towels...Just a foot note.....

I would suggest you try using Jojoba Oil as it is almost identical organically-speaking to sebum, which is the natural oil produced by your skin. As well as being a great natural moisturizer it can also help with acne, Jojoba Oil penetrates into the skin without logging pores and is suitable for all skin types it contains vitamin E and antioxidants which are great for fighting aging signs and moisturizing the skin.

Studies on jojoba oil show that it has the ability to prevent skin from becoming too oily. This is due to the fact that putting jojoba oil on our skin can trick our cells into thinking they have produced enough oil. Remove any surface dirt from your skin, then put just a few drops of jojoba oil into your hand and rub it into your skin when you start to work jojoba oil into the skin, the oil penetrates into the pores. As jojoba closely resembles

your skin's own oil, moisturizing with jojoba oil sends the message to your pores to stop overproducing the sebum that causing the oily skin.

In the long long term, time. In the long term, put vidimen E on it. It's supposed to help clear scares. For short term, as in getting your picture taken in the next month or so, get some green powder of any kind that will stick to your face. Since green is the oppisite color of red it will neutalize the reddness.

um i'm not really answering your question but i have some questions i'd like to ask you;
how old are you and how did your acne clear up? i am 15 and i have been struggling since i was 11/12 and its all over my face!!!

as for your question, use cocoa butter.. it helps stretch marks as well as scars! if not cocoa butter lotion which you can get at a pharmacy, try the pro activ solution skin lightening lotion. that helps too!

thanks and hope you'll answer me back

you probably have scar tissue from popping the zits. that is something that can't really be helped except maybe a derm abrasion. to be honest, without seeing your face and knowing exactly what it looks like, i can't diagnose how to solve your issue. congrats however on getting through your acne.. i know it's tough.. and seems as though you conquered it.

they slowly dissapear. but you can get laser removals. i use to have acne, its clear but scars are left. but they are fading. or you could even go tanned eg.spray tanning; it will fade the colour and you wont notice anything. i realisedl, the darker i was my face looked clearer and less blotchy
