just tell him..face to face..either give him the real reason, or the "i think we're better off as friends"...he'll get over it....i promise

this is my strategy and it works every time:
1. Talk to a best Friend
2. Talk to a friend you don't usually talk to( every time you change a friend you could also be building another friendship to multi task)
3. Then talk to him and make a fast, strategic exit

Do what makes you happy. He'll get over it! That is part of growing up. But if you are with him when you don't feel the same, it is as cruel.

Just do it.Not caring and acting like you do will be rougher in the long run for him.Think of it as doing him a favor.
