They are too young to ask the questions an adult would have to ask
They would need to know how to tell time. How else would they know how to make an appointment
They are way too young to do this!
Do your kids even know how to use a phone? Most kids at that age can't!
By the time they are sixteen to twenty one that's when they should be encouraged to call and go to the doctor.
Honestly if you are over 21 than you really should know better. either way you sound lazy.

Kids that age wouldn't be able to answer all the questions asked at the time of making an appointment like insurance and whatnot. Also kids wouldn't know what time their parents could drive them to the appointment and would ulitimately end up just handing the phone over to mommy anyways which is just annoying for the secretary and everyone else...

Because they're still far too immature to do that kind of thing. Most 6 or 7 year olds don't really know how to make phone calls at all, much less for appointments.

If the doctor's office got a call from someone that young, they would ask to speak to an adult. They are not allowed to treat a child without a parent's permission. I would guess that they would want to be sure that a parent knew the child was being seen.

They are too young to make their own appointments. They don't drive, they don't work, they don't do a lot of things and that's because they are still in the process of growing up. If a child can barely do their homework or finish all of their chores, how could they possibly handle their own appointments?

Its the parents responsibility to take care of there children. If left to most kids to do it wouldn't get done, not many kids like to go to the doctor.

Get a grip. That is a job for the ADULT to you. Like YOU. Stop being so lazy and start being the parent. Get off your butt. Repeat to yourself over and over "I AM THE GROWN-UP. THEY ARE THE CHILDREN. REPEAT UNTIL YOU GET IT: I AM THE GROWN-UP. THEY ARE THE CHILDREN. KEEP GOING UNTIL YOU FIGURE IT OUT.
