I just heard the song my heart will go on by Celine Dion and am about to cry because it reminds me of my grandmother who passed away from breast cancer. The best answer gets the points!

Yo people hope you're doing well I am feeling much better as of now and would like to thank all of you for your answers. I must inform you though that if you hope to have the best answer and get your 10 points I will need a strong answer. I never met any of my 4 grandparents. Cherish the memories you have of her. Live the life she inspired you to live so that when you pass on many years from now there will be people amongst the younger generation who will truly miss you but will also want/hope you to be happy wherever you are.

Really feel the sadness and move slowly right through it.

Cherish your time with everyone else around you because you do know that one day they or you will no longer be within each other's company...

Japanese have a really cool word for a concept that I had experienced but didn't know that it was so "japanese" of me to do so. It's called "aware". It's the feeling you get when you observe cherry blossoms in bloom because they're so beautiful and fleeting, here now and falling and gone the next moment until a whole year later. And in knowing that the moment is going to end, you get that bittersweet feeling of sadness at its beauty. Such is life...

You are able to really feel alive right now with the memory and longing for your grandmother. Your soul's capacity to feel is being deepened. May she rest in peace :)

I'm sorry about your Grandmother. My Mother passed away 1 yr ago from MS, it still hurts so much. She was like my best friend & I will never stop missing her. When I get real down about it, I try to remember times when we were together & the things she told me. I think about how loving she was & I ask myself what would she say to me right now? I know she would tell me to stop being sad, she wouldn't want me to cry & feel so bad. She would want me to smile when I think about her & remember how much she loved me & how special the time we had together was. She would want me to remember all the things I learned from her & have a happy life. So I think about her every day & I live for her. I like to think she can see me & is happy. So I hope this helps you feel a little better! It's so hard to lose someone you love, but it gets a little easier every day. I don't think it will ever feel like I'm over it, but it won't hurt as bad maybe someday.

Take it as a sign dear, its reminding you that your heart WILL go on...look at Rose in the end, an old lady warm in her bed just the way Jack said it would be. But Rose lived her life to the uttermost right up until the last....now, picturing her as a young woman and then as an older one retelling her story there were alot of years inbetween and you just KNOW she had a good time and made alot of memories...enough for herself as well as Jack.

As for your Grandmother, I'm sorry for her loss but in the six months since my father died I've learned something. I've learned to celebrate the life he lived and every moment I had with him. Yes, its frequently bittersweet, but the sweet is still there. Whether you are crying in sorrow or crying tears of laughter she is still with you. Her heart DOES go on...inside of you. You are what keeps her alive, and to do that you have to remember and you have to cherish those memories and allow yourself to feel the pain of the loss as well. I'm so sorry, I can only imagine how difficult it is having gone through a loss myself but its different for everyone. I hope you find your peace with this and you shall be in my prayers.

I don't think I need to cheer you up, it is good for you to cry sometimes and miss the ones that you love, it keeps the memories alive. It is not a crime.

Besides Celine dion is a pretty singer, in more ways than one so my son says.

I'm so sorry to hear that. Whenever I listen to a song that has so much to do with me and my problem, I do cry. It may make me sound like a baby, but it's OKAY to cry. It always makes you feel better. It lets everything out. And that's what you need to do when you're grieving, you just need to let it all out. So, next time you hear a song that makes you feel like you're going to cry, do it! It' healthy for you. Also journal. That helps get everything out too.

well, I'm sorry 'bout your g'ma. i know what it's like. trust me. your avatar person looks cool. well if it's jokes you want,,,, here u go:

there was a magic mirror. if you told it the mirror the truth, it would give you a wish. if you told it a lie, it would suck you up.
So a blonde, brunette, and a red head want to try it out.
First the brunette tells the mirror, "I think I am the prettiest girl in the world." And the mirror sucked her up.
The red head said to it, "I think I am the prettiest girl in the world."
And the mirror sucked her up.
Then the blonde went up to it and said, "I think-" and the mirror sucked her up.

well I hope you feel better. Just remember: tomorrow is only a day away.

why cheer up right now?? its good to have things that remind you of a love one that is lost.. Every time i hear the song "Holes in the floor of Heaven" I think of my grandmother and sister in law who passed and are up in Heaven watching down on me so of course every time it rains or even snows in the winter i know they're still there.. :)
so don't get down because of the memory but remember how much she loved you and still does .. :)

She is with you always, just know that. Shes in a better place and free from the pain. You'll see her again one day and youll be happier than ever seeing the biggest smile you probably ever seen.
