What you are stating is incorrect.Jesus parents never denied that they had a child. In Luke 2:41-52 tells us about the time His parents along with many other families made the trip to Jerusalem as they did ever year to celebrate the Feast of the Passover. When it was time to go they left without Jesus, because they were in a crowd and they thought Jesus was with them. Instead at 12yrs of age Jesus was in the temple, listening and answering questions. They returned to get Him, they never denied they had a child. Read it for yourself.

They didn't deny they had a son. And the reason they didn't realize He was at the temple was because at that time, families often traveled in large groups when they went on long trips (for safety, among other reasons), so it makes perfect sense that they didn't realize He wasn't with them. The passage you're referring to is Luke 2:41-52.

That is not in the Biblical text.
He was left in town, they thought he was traveling with family / friends in the caravan.
However, when they realized he was missing, they returned and found him in the temple.
The denial part you added.
Get your facts straight!

They thought he was with relatives. I don't know what you are talking about with the denying.

Carelessness is my guess. We're you ever careless or imperfect with your children? Mightn't it even be possible?
