maybe you should think about taking a Greyhound bus.

The prison belongs to San Francisco since its location falls into that city's territory. San Luis Obispo is the dividing line between North & South, so anywhere north of the city belongs to SF while south of it belongs to LA. BTW---The correct spelling is Corcoran.
