That's one of your many "taste buds" Depending on different parts of the tongue, these buds are able to determine taste categories - sweet, sour, salty, and bitter. Once in a while, some people experience a swollen taste bud. I've had a few in my life time, when I was younger. It's nothing sinister, and they just give you heck for a very short time, and then things return to normal. Leave it alone. It only takes a few hours, Those little guys are very important and they do a great job.

Sounds as though it is a small ulcer. Nothing serious, in the UK you can get something called Bonjela for mouth ulcers. If you can get something like that then dab that on a few times a day and it should soon clear up.

sounds like a swollen taste bud eat some raw onion (like in a sandwich) it helps with PH in your mouth that is what causes them. if it a taste bud it should clear up in about 24 hours.

i got this several times b4. don't worry nothing serious. it will hurt but just leave it alone and be careful when eating and brushing ur teeth. shoud go away in a cuple of days

Everyone has got those in there life gargle with warm salt water, it will go away in aa few days, Don't be worried, G-look

Could be a viral form of herpes (non sexual) or, it could herpes from a sexually transmitted disease.

Use warm salt water several times, it will help for the non sexual herpes.
