Someone in my school pointed out I would be perfect for this scholarship: http://mckelveyfoundation.org/national_scholarship.html

I would like to know if owning your own website counts as a business?

My most popular one is: http://betteroblivion.com and I was wondering if it could be considered an advertising business since I display google ads for a profit?

Any suggestions or should I just forget about this one?

Yes, your website would qualify as a business. A business is simply a person, partnership, or corperation engaged in commerce. I took a look at the scholarship program and you should definately qualify, but it's not likely they are just handing out the scholarships. It did state that "THE WINNERS" will have certain obligations, so there will definately be some scholastic requirements that have to be met. But go for it, the worst that can happen is they say no. Good luck and best wishes.
