13:11 And I will punish the world for [their] evil, and the wicked for their iniquity; and I will cause the arrogancy of the proud to cease, and will lay low the haughtiness of the terrible.

13:13 Therefore I will shake the heavens, and the earth shall remove out of her place, in the wrath of the LORD of hosts, and in the day of his fierce anger.

13:14 And it shall be as the chased roe, and as a sheep that no man taketh up: they shall every man turn to his own people, and flee every one into his own land.

13:15 Every one that is found shall be thrust through; and every one that is joined [unto them] shall fall by the sword.

13:16 Their children also shall be dashed to pieces before their eyes; their houses shall be spoiled, and their wives ravished.

13:17 Behold, I will stir up the Medes against them, which shall not regard silver; and [as for] gold, they shall not delight in it.

13:18 [Their] bows also shall dash the young men to pieces; and they shall have no pity on the fruit of the womb; their eye shall not spare children.

Isaiah.

Where's the "all-loving" God you talk about?

This is a selection taken from the Jewish book, Isaiah, a prophet in the Old Testament. It is referring to the destructrion of Babylon by the Medes following the years of captivity for the Jewish people. God will punish the godless nation for its sin. He is descriving the results of the war Isaiah is prophecying about. In those days, war was brutal, hand to hand combat, taking prisoners of women and children to be used as slaves, and objects of abuse. Men were usually killed. Often times whole cultures were destroyed. It is not what God did... it is what man did. God just prophecied that it would happen. and it did. God does not lie. The "Babylonian Chronicles" tells us the exact date which Babylon fell.... October 13, 539 B.C. The Medes and Persians were the waring people who fulfilled the prophecy. God allowed the war, as He does not control man...who has a free will. He just told people it would happen.

Most people that read this are reading their own fate, and don't even know it. The God of creation ( Jesus ) has told people what their limits are, and yet they still chose to violate his commands. Then someone has the nerve to blame God ( Jesus ) for the results of the peoples actions. After all God ( Jesus ) did give humans a free will. The point is, God ( Jesus ) can not be blamed for the actions of people. If God ( Jesus ) controlled people like the communist want too, it wouldn't be a free will, a/k/a freedom. If people don't want this to happen they should stay and do as God ( Jesus ) as told them. Otherwise what is written shall come to pass.

Your scripture is from Isaiah 13. And that is describing the wrath of God.

If you would have read it from the beginning...

Isaiah 13:1 The burden of Babylon, which Isaiah the son of Amoz did see.

2 Lift ye up a banner upon the high mountain, exalt the voice unto them, shake the hand, that they may go into the gates of the nobles.

3 I have commanded my sanctified ones, I have also called my mighty ones for mine anger, even them that rejoice in my highness.

You would have read about God's anger.

this is why i am Pagan. at least our gods of WAR proclaim what they are.

however i must say that even with the Norse and Celtic War Gods. most of them took no delight in the killing of innocents, and many times required full rights of hospitality be given to any prisioners, or to the common men or conqured lands.

rights of hospitality, means that you take responsibility for their well being, and mantained good health. a person granted the rights of hospitality was almost considered a member of the community, and after a year and a day of loyalty to the captors they would usually be granted full rights of community membership.

Our loving God is right there. This things happen to those who reject God, and forcing Him to do something with them, as they cant be in heaven commiting sin there. What else should He do with them. God gives us all choice. He forces noone. But heaven is a place with no sin, for all who want it. If ppl reject God, then they have chosen hell. SO dont blame God for their outcomes. We all have equal opportunity to pick up a Bible and learn for ourself the truths of God. Blame only the devil who does all he can to get ppl to do as they please and not care about themselves or anyone else really, and not even God. Where will the devil be on judgement day/ He wont be there to save you. But Jesus is there for us, as our mediator. So , we follow Him now or we reject Him and He wont be there. Thats fair, and all have been warned years and years ago, and Bible stil says that sme thing. Search for truth. Blame the devil and not God. He is so loving that He doesnt want us to stay in our sin sick condition. He wants to bless us with true love, joy and peace, but most reject Him, cuz it doesnt fit into their own self condition. They dont want to give up what they want for what God wants for them And the price is hell. Search for yourself the word of God and KNOW. and remember, He is eager to forgive and forget. Just ask.

I can't speak for all Christians, but as far as the Catholic Church believes, God is All Loving and All Merciful, but as the One who is Life Itself, God is not stupid either. He will bring justice enentually to everyone who deserves justice. He is the Just Judge, and it really doesn't matter weither its in this life or the next, He will judge the soul. Those who don't ask for God's Divine Mercy, Love or Compassion will get their due for leading lives centered on themselves.

OT shows G-d's blessing and judgement.

NT shows how to escape the judgement and get the blessing (Jesus)

He made it such an easy choice because He loves us. Many people died to make the decision easier for you and me.

What have you done with this choice??

Bless you
David

he has anger. its not a sin!

and you know what? we ALL deserve to go to HELL! but he DIED for our sins so we all get the chance to go to heaven!

John 3:16
For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son, for whosoever believeth in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.

now how do you explain that?

It's a man made fairy tale so none of what is said in the bible should be taken seriously at all.
