In my opinion "Yes". A positive attitude has a lot to do with how you can "live" with cancer. I started with cancer 36 years ago and have had recurrence's twice since. I had it in a lymph node last time and have had surgery and radiation for it. At present there is not a sign of it so I believe that anything is possible. Keep the faith, think positive and make educated decisions with his Oncologist. One of the best things a friend can do is not to be afraid to talk about it. Some people like to pretend it is not a problem and that is not a healthy attitude. We all have something to deal with and this is his thing and he needs to have someone to talk to. A true friend is one the best gifts you can give him.

Yes, he can beat the cancer a second, third, or fourth time. There are just too many variables here before you make that determination. Basically, if he is in fairly good health and has the determination to keep fighting than he can continue.

My son was diagnosed with stage IV abdominal sarcoma and he had widespred lymph node involvment. Two surgeries, and 16 months of chemotherapy later and he has a few nodules left on the liver. The cancer in the lympth nodes disappeared after chemotherapy.

Your friend has a very good chance. It's not over if it's in the lymph nodes. It depends on how many nodes are positive. Lymph nodes can be removed. The less the better. That will also determine his treatment.

This all depends on the individual. The strength of the immune system, diet choices, personal habits, willingness to live, attitude, etc. It is also suggested that things like resentment, anger, hatred, retaliation, bitterness, unforgiveness, and other mind/body factors
are related to cancer.

sorry to hear about your friend, as far as I know, once the cancer gets in the lymph nodes it is pretty much over because it can travel fast. Can he beat it a second time? I don't know, but having a friend care for him like you do sure can't hurt.

Your friend could try changing the diet. A diet that has alot of sugar feeds the cancer. Eating more natural foods, most importantly fruit and vegetables. Juice Plus is also a help. I get it from a rep., but I know my sister-in-law got it from her chiro. Try to look into the diet change.
