I think it's cool. I like your religion most of you are really nice people and I don't mind sharing this beautiful planet with you. It's your extremists that worry me.

wow most of the answers here are making up excuses for the growing numbers. if the middle eastern countries strict laws were to blame for the growing number of muslims, islam would only be in that part of the world and wouldn't be growing in the rest. birth-rates is also a silly excuse.
laci is so nice :)

Yes, Islam is the fastest growing religion..................
Some people here said that people are forced to follow Islam in Muslim countries.........that is wrong...............
.
In Afghanistan there are many Hindus, even Taliban did not force them to convert, you know why I know, cause I am from Afghanistan.
.
In Pakistan, a lot of Christians live, and they have churches...they not forced to convert, even in places where religious people rule, you know why I know, because I have lived in Pakistan.
.
In the US, you got freedom, nobody force you to do anything. Even Preachers and Priest convert to Islam. You know why I know, because I live in US.
.
Again, Islam is the fastest growing religion and it will continue. I am not trying to offend anyone but defend myself. Some people here really don't respect me and my religion, in the same time, they think they are really good and religious people.

Islam is the fastest growing religion in the world, but some of the responses here surprise me, although they probably shouldn't as the vast majority of people here are ignorant and do not attempt to educate themselves, relying on what the television tells them, which happens to be full of propoganda from Christian extremests (ie George Bush)... Islam is also one of the newest religons, and perhaps people are reverting to Islam because it is not corrupt and full of contradictions as is Christianity.

If your are not muslim it goes like this...
Convert or Die!
If you are muslim it goes like this...
Convert and Die!
If you choose not to convert to Islam...
Die Infidel scum!
KORAN commands to kill infidels: (ie. non muslims)
Allah is an enemy to unbelievers. - Sura 2:98
On unbelievers is the curse of Allah. - Sura 2:161
Slay them wherever ye find them and drive them out of the places whence they drove you out, for persecution is worse than slaughter. - 2:191
Fight against them until idolatry is no more and Allah's religion reigns supreme. (different translation: ) Fight them until there is no persecution and the religion is God's entirely. - Sura 2:193 and 8:39
We read about the Islamic murders and martyrs all the time in the news. With fear like that, why wouldn't it grow? As a woman, I don't think you truly understand how Muslim men treat their women. Ever want to loose all freedom that women in the U.S. have, join Islam. Women have very little say, aren't educated in many Muslim countries, and are treated as slaves.

Numbers wise, Christianity grows the most.
Percentage wise, Zoroastrianism grows the most.
Keep in mind, in many Islamic regions, its against the law to be any religion other than Islam.

Islam may be the f astest growing, but that would be largely because they don't have a choice in Muslim countries. They are born into the religion and must embrace Islam or DIE. (Save leaving the country.) Those born into Christianity have the freedom to change to another religion if they choose.

Doesn't bother me. I have Muslim friends and they are wonderful, loving people. There are extremists in every religion. My Muslims friends are the only friends I have who have NOT tried to convert me.
