Now that papers are so expensive (e.g.Sunday Observer £1.80) I can no longer afford this simple luxury. Anyone in the same situation? Perhaps a good thing, as less trees will be cut down. Anyone thought of a newspaper share club? And is anyone worried about the rise in gas prices? Anyone had an enormous bills yet? Exactly how much (percentage) has the average bill gone up by?

Here in Connecticut, USA, I remember as a very young boy when the Sunday paper cost .25 compared to today's cost of $1.50. I stopped buying it. Anyway the news is two days old compared to up to the minute news on the internet. Newspapers will eventually be printed only for your pet to read. Get my drift?

Not really. The Internet & the free papers provide all the news I need. Then there's TV news - might as well pay the licence for something!!! So no paper bill for me!!!
