I recently asked a question, see link below, and this person answered my question by saying "God made you a cripple, if not by action then by responsibility"
What does he mean? I do not understand can you please tell me?

Is it actually Gods fault or a freak of nature?

I read J.P.'s response to your previous post. It looks like he needs to blame someone for all the world's ills and since God is in control, He must be responsible for all the bad as well as the good. Looks like J.P. is pretty angry.

Unfortunately, that anger blinds him to the evidence that you are a loving and caring woman who has made God's heart her own.

The way J.P. sees things, God was either directly (action) or indirectly (responsibility) responsible for your physical condition. No doubt God allowed this to happen. Why? We won't know until we get to heaven. But my guess is your love and courage have been a blessing to many. Maybe that was God's reason.

Going with J.P.'s logic, God made Helen Keller deaf and blind. But that didn't stop her from loving Him and everyone else she met.

God also gave us free will. We choose to love or hate. You are a blessing to me because you choose to love.

It may be difficult to accept but everything in our lives are directed by God for an end that only He knows. Your being crippled is necessary for what God sees as the goal and purpose of your life. This requires a lot of trust from you including your question about His love for you. But if you persevere in faith and continue to hold on to His promise, the fulfillment of all your desires will come when you pass from this world, like everybody else.

I think the guy meant that you were either MADE a cripple by someone's action, or by your own responsibility. But it wasn't worded very well, so don't worry about it. You are a terrific person, I am sure, and have decided issuing blame to anyone is a waste of your time. :-)

:
John 9:1-3
And as Jesus passed by, he saw a man which was blind from his birth.

2 And his disciples asked him, saying, Master, who did sin, this man, or his parents, that he was born blind?

3 Jesus answered, Neither hath this man sinned, nor his parents: but that the works of God should be made manifest in him.

God created your soul in his image. Your body is just the bottle that holds the soul. It's not important what happens to your body, only to your soul. Being cripple is probably good for you as it strengthens you charicture and brings you closer to God.

God does not kill, hurt or corrupt. Satan perverts everything God creates. The devil can not create so he takes everything God does and perverts it. Health-God, Sickness-Satan

(Acts 10:38) How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.

i have two theories on disability and neither are Gods fault...
one theory is that we choose our lives because in spirit we may see the bigger picture and spiritual lessons that we may learn from such a life ... that it builds compassion and strength of character
the other is that it is simply genetics and no ones fault

what matters though is not your physical body but your spiritual mind ...
and yours my dear is perfect

You reap what you sow during you lifetime. If you are a thief you will get burnt, maybe not by losing your hand but by lightening, car accident, a bullett.... If you do good deeds you will get love back.
