Lemon juice in the sun is nice, but drying. Just make sure you follow up with a good conditioner. Biolage blonde color conditioner will give lighter hair a yellow sunshiney sheen, which gives the illusion of being blonder.

Don't get sun-in. It can be very damaging over time (since it never really stops working) and can be a problem if you want to color or perm that hair in the future.

From a professional I will tell you the people who wrote:

Lemon juice in the sun

lay in the sun

try getting sun with beer or lemon juice

chrlorine from the pool

put mayonnaise in it and then lay out in the sun

Sun In

NO NO NO Not gonna Happen!!!! It does not work- I am telling you personally and professionally- (and I am a color specialist) and it is not better than on your hair than bleaching- Here is a few things you can do:
Go to your local salon! If price is a factor you can book an appt at the local beauty school for a few bucks more than the over the counter dye with better results. If you are a do-it-yourselfer Go to sallys. The ladies (and guys) working in there are licenced cosmetogist. Tell them what you want to do and they will show your what to buy to do it and how to do it. I am not sure what color your hair is now but I would suggest buying some Quick Blue lightner from sallys and let the ladies help you decide what volune of devloper to buy base on the color your hair is now and the color you desire.

Take a few lemons and squeeze the juice out of it. Soak your hair in the juice and lay in the sun.

There is also a product called Sun In. You can get it at Walgreens or Walmart. Spray it in your hair and lay in the sun. You can also blow-dry it if its too cold out.

My sister used to put real lemon juice in her hair and then sit out in the sun -- it worked, leaving her hair nicely streaked. Plus, it smelled great!

there really isn't a "natural" way to make your hair more blonde that won't hurt it more than a high-lift tint (store-bought color). you will damage your hair more by using lemon juice in the sun, like people say. just get a box color at the store.

try getting sun with beer or lemon juice in your hair, its a lot less harmful than bleach and it works. i also use pantene for blondes for darker shades( it goes from darker to lighter shade of hair). good luck!
