ive always just had fruit juices, tea and fizzy drinks but never drank a glass of water, i always look tired and drained and i was wondering if just drinking those drinks above with no water how will it affect my health? im not fat or obese ive just felt more depressed than usual. this has been going on for about a year and a half.

Drinking water daily is important for the body. If you're dehydrated that will cause you to be drained of energy. You might consider buying packets of flavor mix to put in bottles of water. I use Crystal Light Lemonade mixed in a bottle of water, it's great. There's a ton of flavors with Crystal Light. Kool Aid even has flavor packets for individual bottles of water.

You know that's a bad habbit...Water is very important in our body because it serves as the solvent for nutrients and waste product in the body. An appropriate amount of fluids must be present in the body because:

***water carries nutrients and waste product throughout the body;

***it maintain the structure of large molecules such as proteins, and glycogen;

***water participates in chemical reactions;

***water acts as a lubricant and cushion around joints and inside the eyes, spinal cord, and, in pregnancy, the amniotic sac surrounding the fetus in the womb;

***it helps in the regulation of body temperature; and

***it remains blood volume
