Why do Atheists show-up for bashing in this forum?

Question

Religion: a system of faith and worship in religion
Spirtuality: 1. pertaining to the soul or spirt. 2. related to sacred things.

Are they religion terrorists? Are they possesed by the evil one? Would they like there own forum? Whats the deal? I haven't read anyone trying to prove Atheists don't exsist. Or Agnostics having no right to believe in anything. The question isn't ment to offend anyone. All answers welcome and respected.

Individuals of both strong atheism and theism alike show up to bash each other... its actually rather annoying. Neither one has absolute proof of anything and yet they pander their personal BELIEFS and OPINIONS as fact, and ridicule, disrespect and attack anyone who holds a different BELIEF or OPINION. As a spiritual agnostic myself, I dont claim to know anything that is currently unprovable either way. I say "I dont KNOW if god exists, but I BELIEVE he doesnt.

Both atheists and theists say I KNOW god exists, or I KNOW god doesnt exist. then they bash one another for being so stupid as to believe or disbelieve in something which NO ONE ON THIS EARTH IS CAPABLE OF ACTUALLY PROVING!!

It is a vicious circle that never ends... until we all admit we dont KNOW for certain and acknowledge our ignorance and state our beliefs as they are and not as we would wish them to be. Belief is not Knowledge and Knowledge is not Belief.. Until we all admit that, there will continue to be bashing on either side of the fence... while the agnostics sit in the middle and admit their own ignorance and debate logically and politely with others.

No one complains when scientists talk about Mars or the Sun or other galaxies. They've never actually been there, but they've studied them, know something about them, and have an opinion on questions pertaining them. You should notice that the questions that we ask pertain to religion and spirituality, so they belong in this category. As for the ones who make abusive comments, every group has people like this.

If you don't want to offend, next time avoid terms like 'terrorists' and 'possessed by the evil one.' They're offensive.

One of the explanations I'm bored stiff is considering I have more commonly taken plentiful time to supply a good-reasoned, convincing reaction to a query. I offered hyperlinks, gave overwhelming proof to help my reply, and proved with info and good judgment the deserves of my argument. Instead of having Best Answer, I'd get a lot of these thumbs down, and watched in dismay as the ten features went to a couple airhead who wrote, You're so proper! You pass, woman. Pathetic, is not it? I've noticeable questions wherein I totalled up that one hundred persons voted on a query. Obviously, that is simply large fraud, however Yahoo! Answers does not anything. Nutcases like Nancy (I consider she ultimately gave up having her 50 aliases deleted) pop up always. This venue routinely turns out like a few mutual congratulatory society of Left wingers. I have two times gotten violations for essentially the most risk free matters. One used to be certainly ridiculous, and to end up my rivalry, I reposted the offensive assertion in a number of solutions, none of that have been deleted. It's simply hateful Libs who can not stand to look the reality. It frightens them. Don't quit in this discussion board. You could get a few suggestion being attentive to the RUSH tune, The Pass. Are you suggesting that atheists don't belong here? Or that the only reasons we would come here are evil ones?

Saying "this question isn't ment to offend anyone" doesn't change the fact that you went out of your way to make dishonest offensive suggestions about the nature of atheists.

This is a forum for everyone to answer and take part in, not just a few selected people.I am Agnostic and do not believe in religion.Everyone should evaluate everything for themselves and in that searching you will find a place that you are comfortable with, and this is why I'm Agnostic.

Your faith is secure. God cannot be insulted by anything. We cannot possibly affect your beliefs. No problem as far as I can see.


Does it make anyone else guffaw when they see a scarlet-faced "question" like this that signs off with "no offence to anyone", as if it lets them off whatever they like saying? And atheists are the ones who come here and do the bashing?

Bashing comes from all directions, not just from the Atheist direction. Also consider that much of the Christian bashing does not come from Atheisits. It is actually coming from trolls posing as Atheists to cast them in a bad light. (Likewise, Atheist bashing often comes from trolls!)

Thats; because atheists do exist, Unlike god , you can see them, touch them , and talk to them. Atheists are not necessarily non spiritual.Spirituality does not necessarily need a god.

Agnostics are really the only honest people here since the existence of god can neither be proven or disproven, and these people are the only ones ro recognise, accept and state this.

Here's a clue : saying 'no offence meant' isn't a get-out-of-jail-free card to then go and insult people. Grow up.
