I am currently studying D.T at GCSE level and need to pick a final design project.?

It needs to be useful and realistic to create, but that is the only criteria. Any ideas?

Both of my eldest children did this as an option, one made a footstool and covered it, was also used by my disabled mother to get around in her bedroom, the other made a beautiful coffee table in mahogany and it takes pride of place in my lounge.
