I'm trying to find suitable confirmation names and among them, i have the name Marina. Is she a Catholic saint? Is her name a derivitive of another name? Is there a site where i can find information on her? Any answers would be great. thank you!

Hey Dutch,

Marina was a woman who disguised herself as a man to join her father, a layman who gave up everything after the death of his wife and became a monk at the Monastery of Our Lady of Qannoubin in the Qadisha Valley of Lebanon. [Henceforth in the text whenever chronologically or contextually appropriate in relating her story, Saint Marina will either be referred to as "Marina" (feminine), or as "Marinos" (masculine).]
