116 is actually not overweight for a 12 year old, depending on how tall you are. But if you want good legs you need to start running. Run a mile 3 or more times a week. A few weeks later, start running farther like 1 and a half miles or 2 miles. You can also just start out running for 15 minutes and eventually build up to 30 minutes.

Also you can do stairs. Find some stair you can run up and down on. Run on those for 15 reps (or less) up and down. Try to find a decent amout of steps, more then 5 or 7 to run on.

Eat healthy snacks, such as fruit and veggies. You should have smaller legs in about 4 weeks. But just remember that you have to work for it and don't give up. You wont see results right away and its not an easy thing. Just be patient and stick to your plan.

not knowing your hieght 12 and 116 isnt too bad im 14 and 103 and im as skinny as a twig(i hate it everyone says i have an eating disorder-it sucks to be skinny sometimes) but like i was trying to say run, exercise join a gym(some will let you) less "fatty sugars"(as my health book says) which is just junk food, eat fruits and veggies-if you dont like them down 'em its better for you.dont eat when you get bored/hungry wait for meal time-no snacks,and no television computer. join a sport or somthing-i do 5min.(straight through) walls sit once a day sometimes two when i get bored(it was extremly hard at first i was quivern and sweating up a storm now its like "its only been 5 how about another min)-lol

go no a veg,s diet, like eat fish or chicken and peppers, also ate oatmeal for breakfast, and oatmeal bars. stay away from with rice ,any bread, also eat all brain cereal, dink 10 cups of water and walk 45mins 3 days a week, run 1 lap around the track, or jog a lap, i lost 30 pounds in 1 month.stay away from fast food like MC.d,s and burger king, and sweets like pop drink juice. eat your veg,s the dark ones, and baby carets

Look, some girls are just not meant to be skinny (I'm not saying you are one of these). If you are, just work with what you've got. Don't dress like a... bad girl with skimpy clothes and stuff, just be youself and let your personality shine.

Those legs aren't real... they have been air-brushed.

You are at a fine weight for your age.... if you want to tone up your legs try jogging, or ballet.
