He is really great in bed and everything else, other than using his hands. I really love him and he is the only guy I have ever been with. I just wish he wasnt so rough

You won't hurt his feelings by telling him what you want in the bedroom. Place his hands on your body as show him how you want him to touch you.
Make your antics in the bedroom fun, if he touches you a little rough then tell him off in a cheeky way, say something like " oh you naughty boy do it softly and touch me like this" add that you really like it when his touches are soft and sexy. Not only will this turn him on by you being more domineering but that will give him some more confidence knowing that by doing this he's turning you on even more. And then you can fall into a post-orgasm delight instead of nursing your sore bits.

Why are you worrying about hurting his feelings when he is hurting you physically.
Next time just go 'OW that's too rough you are hurting me. Be a bit more gentle'. If he does not listen just do to him what he does to you. He will soon get the message.

Just set him down and tell the guy. Just tell him you don't want him to be so rough and ..um. show him what you want. Nothin' breaks up a potential fight better than some friction in the sheets.
