Probably some form of brain damage - like amnesia.

This has been recorded on several ocassions. Often they refuse to discuss it because they are deemed weird. It is factual. There is another explanation. When we have a traumatic experience like that, the spirit can leave the body. One nearby can and does influence the aura and appear to get right into the body...it cannot. Some interesting stories have been written in: Thirty Years Among The Dead by a Psychiatrist, Carl Wickland.

having a person declared clinically dead aint new it has happened to some famous musicians. But the thing of a different personality could be just that a different personality that came forth and not a spirit or soul like you are saying.

Brain damage. Some people will begin speaking in a foreign accent, even if they've never been outside the country. It all has to do with which part of her brain was damaged when oxygen was not being pumped to her brain.

This would probably get happier answers in the "mythology" thread. Still, there is a theory called "Walk Ins" that would fit this story perfectly -- it's the idea that a new spirit can step in when another steps out. Check out Ruth Montgomery's "Strangers Among Us."

Brain damage can cause personality/memory deficits depending on the areas of the brain that were damaged. This would be the most likely explanation.

cracked identity. some people have a identity disorder where they think they are other people, or even multiple people. some brought on by trauma, others natural.
clinically dead is not physically dead. you are dead once you do not come back alive. otherwise yoru a zombie.
liking different foods - taste is nothing but a chemical reaction on your tongue, if she got hit with some kind of braindamage or different identity she could very well taste things differently, see things differently.

She undoubtedly suffered hypoxia-induced brain damage. Nothing particularly miraculous or sinister about that. "Ann" was probably the name of a relative dredged up from whatever remained of her memory. I have seen many people revived from cardiac arrests who suffered memory deficits and alterations. Get over it.

We know the scientific explanations. What's the religious one? It was her time to die, but god decided to give somebody else a second chance using her body?

I am not convinced. Did anyone compare "Ann" to any characters in any soap opera.
