Okay - let's go. I am highly intelligent - Mensa eligible though I have not taken the test.
Earth age - if you are refering to Bishop of Usher's famous calculation, you should realize that it has nothing to do with being a Christian. It was a realistic for that time, act of science. It appears in neither the Bible nor Christian doctrine.
Prayer works everytime - though most of the time it is not in the way we would like so we write it off as not working. If God is God, ipso facto, God would want what is best for us. You may pray for a neon blue Sterling, but God already knows about your insurance rate.
Of course the Bible is full of contradictions. Big Duh! 13000 manuscripts/bits/scraps hand copied without punctuation or spaces between words for over 2000 years and other stories carried by oral tradition for about 1000 years. God didn't write the Bible for God. We have the Bible as a testimony of humanity's scramble for intelligence. Gen. 1 Creation - magnificent retelling of the much earlier Gilgamesh Epic of lower Mespotamia. First attempts of humanity at science - saying how it all fits together. Magnificent. Nothing to compare in a scientific field.
Martin Luther once shared the metaphor that the Bible is to the Word of God what the manger was to Jesus. My guess the manger had a few knicks and knocks. So does the Bible. And I am very certain I can find more errors than you. Would you like to read the Bible through with me and we search them out?
I'd love to show you the stunning beauty of the other parts as well.

I don't see a label on the earth that tells me when it was established?

If prayer work's any of the time then you need to think about becoming one of these intelligent people (did you know that intelligent people can use a spell checker on intellegent).

The bible, you obviously have not read and understood.

OR, you know all this because you actually spell Christian with a capital.

the earth is more than 6000 years old:

I wouldn't doubt it

prayer do not work most the time:

I highly disagree due to personal experience.

bible is full of contradiction:

This is a false statement. If you actually took the time to study the context of the bible, you will see that they don't contradict, they compliment.

Scripture itself is not full of contradictions...Christianity is. Christianity offers to many contradictions and leaves people confused. The truth is out there. Seek and you will find.

Actualy you are wrong in all your assumptions.

Actually, 90 percent of the methods that have been used to estimate the age of the earth point to an age far less than the billions of years asserted by evolutionists. A few of them:

Red blood cells and hemoglobin have been found in some (unfossilized!) dinosaur bone. But these could not last more than a few thousand years—certainly not the 65 million years from when evolutionists think the last dinosaur lived.14

The earth’s magnetic field has been decaying so fast that it couldn’t be more than about 10,000 years old. Rapid reversals during the flood year and fluctuations shortly after just caused the field energy to drop even faster.15

Helium is pouring into the atmosphere from radioactive decay, but not much is escaping. But the total amount in the atmosphere is only 1/2000th of that expected if the atmosphere were really billions of years old. This helium originally escaped from rocks. This happens quite fast, yet so much helium is still in some rocks that it couldn’t have had time to escape—certainly not billions of years.16

A supernova is an explosion of a massive star—the explosion is so bright that it briefly outshines the rest of the galaxy. The supernova remnants (SNRs) should keep expanding for hundreds of thousands of years, according to the physical equations. Yet there are no very old, widely expanded (Stage 3) SNRs, and few moderately old (Stage 2) ones in our galaxy, the Milky Way, or in its satellite galaxies, the Magellanic clouds. This is just what we would expect if these galaxies had not existed long enough for wide expansion.17

The moon is slowly receding from earth at about 1-1/2 inches (4cm) per year, and the rate would have been greater in the past. But even if the moon had started receding from being in contact with the earth, it would have taken only 1.37 billion years to reach its present distance. This gives a maximum possible age of the moon—not the actual age. This is far too young for evolution (and much younger than the radiometric ‘dates’ assigned to moon rocks).18

Salt is pouring into the sea much faster than it is escaping. The sea is not nearly salty enough for this to have been happening for billions of years. Even granting generous assumptions to evolutionists, the seas could not be more than 62 million years old—far younger than the billions of years believed by evolutionists. Again, this indicates a maximum age, not the actual age.
How old is the earth?

Your argumanet from Unanswered prayer is also Incorrect. What would be my inttelectual capacity if my car broke down, but I couldnt contact anyone to tel me How to fix it, and therefore concluded that because I couldnt contact anyone about my dliemna, my car had no manufacturer? The fact of thier existence has absolutly nothing to do with whether or not they return my calls. niether does Gods existence have anything to do with the fact some have experienced miracles, seen visions, or supposedly heard his voice. the sun dosent exist because we see its light, or because we feel its warmth. its existence has absolutly nothing to do with any Human testimony. Nor does it cease to exixst because I blind man cannot percieve it with His/her eyes, or because it becomes cloudy. The sun exist period. same with God, he existed eternally before we were present, and he is the omega, which means he will exist after Human conscieousness has siezed. I insist that you point out one BIble contradiction. We have the orginal copies of the old testament and new, and history has revealed its divine authorship and authority. science has changed, History has changed, but the BIble revealed scientific facts that we only found thousands of years later. In addition the BIble has offered amazingly accurate prohecy and testimony of History, it is been used reliably by historians to trace the Biblical and historical origins of events such as The Exodus of the Isrealites, the finding of Archeological sites such as the tower of babel and the original site of sodom and gomorrah. who is condradicting? its Hman Judgement that has changed. Why do people reject christianity? Not because they have the "intellegence", but rather because they know if they acknowledge God exsit, they will have to answer to HIm, and this is an unnapealing thought to a society that Loves sin. But every one who has transgressed Gods Law by lying, stealing, looking with lust, using Gods name in vain, or hatred, which is considered Murder, will face a Holy God, no matter How long you contradict and blapsheme, God will catch up with you on Judgement day, and he will require a n account of every thoguth word and deed done in darkness. The BIle says Hell, is the Just dessert for each and eevry one of us,.all I have to say, is i Hope your right, because an eternity is a Long time to be wrong.

Hi, most people turn to christian because they need a crutch! They have not got what it takes to stand up to the world on their own two feet. Another reason, they want to live forever, then death is not final!

Because its the truth! There is only one God.....the God and Father of Jesus Christ. He is real. I know Him personally. You can too if you truly seek the truth. Read CS Lewis' "Mere Christianity".......He's one of the most intelligent writers of modern times. I dare you to read that book and refute what he has to say. You won't be able to if you're completely honest. So try it....unless you're afraid of turning into one of US!!!

You know what? IF they're learning how to be altruistic, kind, patient, loving people and non-judgemental... leave 'em alone. It's unkind, unskillful behavior to attack someone based on such a negative, sweeping generality.
