Please get him/her to an avian vet soon. By the time birds start showing signs of illness, they are VERY sick. Ruffled feathers usually mean they are ill. Just like everyone else, i have never heard of them changing color or the beak or nails growing rapidly. But it could be a vitamin deficiency or something similar. The only way to be safe is to get to a good vet!

See an avian vet ASAP. I haven't heard of the change of colour in beak, but that sounds serious to me.. I'm not sure about the claws either, but I know ruffled feathers and just sitting fluffed up and lethargic is a sign of sickness.

Anytime a bird sits with ruffled feathers...it is sick...take it to the vet....it sounds like he's got to be uncomfortable...his beak will eventually grow so long that it will hook under and he will not be able to eat and will starve......

See a vet ASAP. I know if the bird is young then these things (if they don't occur right after birth) then this will try to catch up with it later. Unfortunately, there is nothing you can do to stop this from getting to be a bigger problem, I still think the best thing to do is see a vet.

As everyone else has said, take your bird to a vet ASAP. There is virtually nothing you can do by yourself that can help.

I would vote VET. Since they are really the bird experts, I am sure they will be able to help you.
