I don't know... ask a Native American!!!

Since everyone else in America is either directly or indirectly descended from an Immigrant!

They might have some good input!

Immigrants are kinda our way of doing our thing. No problem with legal immigration. Makes it kinda groovy with all the cool folks from around and about the globe.
I get ancy when I see only ONE group coming in ...and doing so illegally. The American system doesn't like it either. We are losing our butts to the illegals. It' gonna have to stop.
Legal immigration has nothing to do with illegal entry. Folks need to get that clear.
Our so called cheap labor force is cheap ONLY because it is illegal. So, America is a land where upwards of 50% of the population is going to be illegal and then there is the rest of us. If you make these folks legal, they will want to be paid the same as the rest of us. Then what. Huge numbers of people, little work lots of drain on the sytem, people who don't speak English or care to learn, want to use our health care etc. but not pay for it. Crime etc. What is this gonna mean to America? Nothing very good. Right now someone quoted that each American taxpayer loses $1,100 a year to illegals. I keep wondering how much food that would buy me. That's a lot of strawberries or whatever. There is no free lunch ...unless you are an illegal in the USA. But this too will end. When the whole biz kills the goose that laid the golden egg. Then there will be nothing.
Americas heritage. Kinda sad.
And all without a shot being fired. It's very ironic to my way of thinking.

to tell you the truth, America was first compromised of immigrants, who came from England (excluding the Native Americans, who were already there). I don't have a problem at all with legal immigration. America is what it is today because of immigrants, with all of its rich culture and many heritages.

America is a nation of LEGAL immigrants, not illegals like the Mexicans who cross the border without documentation. America has laws and we as citizens uphold them. Our laws stipulate that people coming in to America must have proper authorization otherwise they are breaking the law and should be sent back to where they came from. Yes, it is as simple as that.

While its true,America is a country started by immigrants. and it has grown into a country of laws, laws needed to keep the peace and tranquility we have come to enjoy.

Laws have been created to help control who and how many people can come into our country.

If the law is broken we must take action.

Just do the paperwork before you come to America.

Legal or Illegal?

Even if we gradually shut down all immigration to the US, we would still be fine, the markets are designed to adjust to circumstances like this very efficently. Wages in the US would go up slightly, and maybe prices too, until the economy adjusted.

Here we go again. Are you talking about illegals or legal immigrants? They are not one and the same. Although, many illegal supporters cannot seem to get the difference.

When will people realize that it's the employers not wanting to deal with unions and teamsters, are to blame for illegal aliens. They would rather pay 3 people than 1 "real" American.Politicians don't care because the same corporations bankroll them.I used to see illegal aliens walking down my street because I lived near rail road tracks. They were there because they already had a job waiting for them.So think about that.Someone has already promised them work, that's why they come.
