Jesus is the Lord in human form. He came down on earth to live everyday life, and endure the hardships, the tests (with Satan about the bread, the angels, and worshipping him), and everyday human life. He wanted to go through it to be an example for us. to let us knwo that it is possible to pass all the tests, to not sin, (even though we are all sinners, He was the only sinnless human being.) Then He was hung on the cross and was filled with sin, all of OUR sin. And He died there, and was in Hell for 3 days, but then He arose and ascended into Heaven! He conquered death, Hell, and the grave just for us!! if you were the only one ever on this earth, He would have done it all for you!

Jesus came to earth to take the punishment for all our sins so that we can repent and go to heaven. He also took stripes on His back to cover all our sickness, and the crown of thorns to cover all mental illness.

WHAT A MIGHTY GOD WE SERVE!!

To die for our sins, however that works. God, who already knows everything past, present or future, created Jesus so Jesus could convince Him to forgive mankind by dying for us. Boggles the mind, I know, but that's the official explanation.

Because God knew that if he let it go on the way it was, he'd just blow up the whole earth in a fit of rage. So he said "son, it's your turn to take care of it"

He wasn't sent. He was born, like anyone else.

What he did while here is far more important.
