I have a panasonic dmr es 15 dvd recorder and it has a problem?

It wont read the discs, i recorded a show from 8-10pm (24) and went to bed when i woke up the player wouldn`t read the discs and it makes noises when i close the disc tray, i called panasonic and they are sending me a disc that will reboot it but i'm worried it wont be able to read the disc, has anyone else had a similar problem? please share if u have

I have a Panasonic ES20 DVD recorder and I had that happen to me, too. The program was short on the DVD (you could see where it was burned) and the player totally barfed when I tried to play it. The programs are gone, so you'll have to get them another way (I saw that they had the first 4 hours of "24" on DVD out already on 16 Jan).

It only happened the one time to me, but I did get their disk and used it, so maybe it really does work. Give it a try -- but be sure to read and follow all of the directions. I'd suggest you read them all the way through once and then go back and start the process. Some of the steps seemed to be split, so if you're reading and figuring out one instead of just doing it, it might be too late to press a button or whatever.

you might need to convert the video
maybe it's the wrong disc -r or +r
or just factory defect
