i exchange into thinking approximately posting the comparable question once I study some responses from earlier as we communicate (one Atheist indexed P.W. as an "Epic Fail")... My preliminary theory exchange into 'do those responders understand that Pascal's wager isn't meant to be a "information" of something'? The wager's logic is concentrated on the reality that all of us ought to make a determination/selection on the subject of in spite of if we've self belief interior the life of a deity. there isn't something approximately that determination that could regard as a "fail". it is an common actuality. Now the resultant factors on loss/income are patently open for debate, yet there remains not a real "logic fail" to be derived. mutually as some Atheists might have "neglected the element", it is likewise purely as probably that they are purely responding to the unsuitable utilization of the wager (which you alluded to on the top of your comments). I too have heard some Christians use P.W. as some variety of "information" for God's life. From that attitude, what's their element? Does attempting to instill the variety of a "theory" have any benefit? James 2:19 "you think that there is one God. solid! Even the demons have self belief that--and shudder." Human reason is purely not waiting to coach, or disprove, the life of God. yet, for some reason, this question is unceasingly debated interior Y.A. The Christian faith is purpose, and right down to earth in history. we can use logic/reason to check those information....why do not Christians purely carry on with that?

Pascal's wager is ridiculous. But the whole fruit thing makes me crazy. Somebody posted on there the other day "Why do grapes fit in your mouth?" or some such nonsense. Well, what about melons, do they fit in your mouth?

I like bananas.

By the way, why can't Pascal's wager be applied to the Aztec religion? You know, let's start sacrificing people to Huitzilopitchli, just in case the sun needs blood to survive?
