You're asking the general public questions that should be reserved for a consultant (or at very least registrar level) haematologist or oncologist.

You have not supplied information about the underlying condition for which you are taking the adriamycin in the first place, nor have you mentioned any other medications you are taking. We have not indication of any other health issues going on with you at the present.

Any number of reasons could be causing the white cell count to jump so high but because they range from infection to leukaemic crisis or could relate to other medications you might be taking it would be meaningless to just list the possibilities.

If you are taking high doses of prednisone, it can make the white cell count jump up. A lot depends on what kind of cancer you have and what other treatments you are taking. It would require a more thorough questioning to determine why your wbc's went up. I probably would ask your Oncologist.
