I have asked that too! Maybe you might get different answers than I got

Matthew 7

Do Not Judge
1 "Judge not, that you be not judged. 2For with what judgment you judge, you will be judged; and with the measure you use, it will be measured back to you. 3And why do you look at the speck in your brother's eye, but do not consider the plank in your own eye?
4Or how can you say to your brother, "Let me remove the speck from your eye'; and look, a plank is in your own eye? 5Hypocrite! First remove the plank from your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother's eye.
6"Do not give what is holy to the dogs; nor cast your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn and tear you in pieces.

God Bless You

Because their thinking is limited by illusions: the illusion that taking someone else down raises you up (hah) or the illusion that there can only be one truth in philosophical arenas (as opposed to math and science, where the idea of one truth makes more sense). Psychologically speaking, they probably have doubts about their own beliefs but cannot accept their own doubts as natural and harmless, so instead attack manifestations of those doubts: which is how they see other religions.

christianity preaches hate against homo's for example.....
and pretty much bans pre-marital sex and contraceptives..

some crazy religions in the middle-east preach to kill infidels.

i don't think it's necessary to criticize the religion themselves.
but people shouldn't do stupid things because their religion tells them to.

people need to stand up and fight against those who hate or are hurtful, whether they do so because of their religion or for any other reason.
