Poodles and bichon frises are known to produce little to no dander, which is what people are usually allergic to. The poodle especially is so popular that you could probably find a perfectly good one that's already housetrained, vaccinated, and spayed/neutered through a rescue rather than having to find a good breeder and pay more.

Also, hairless breeds like the Xolo, Inca Orchid, and Chinese Crested are much easier on allergies since much less hair means much less dander, but they're more rare and therefore expensive and hard to find.

Greyhounds and Italian Greyhounds are great for ppl with allergies. They don't shed much and they have very little oil in their fur which reduces the allergins.

Chinese Crested are also a good option, being hairless (except for a bit on the head and tail).

Poodles and poodle mixes are another good option. Their fur doesnt shed and is called "hypoallergenic." However, despite the common myth - no dog is completely hypoallergenic.

I have terrible allergies too, so I got a Vizsla. Short hair, no shedding. Have not had a problem at all.

I would say a Bolognese or a poodle.

Or a dog without hair like a Chinese Crested
