Well, because sometimes the answer depends on the context. I mean if I told you I ate a hot dog, and asked if that was okay, you'd probably say it was fine. But if I told you I bought it from a street vendor who dropped it on the ground and THEN I ate it, well that's a different story!

Men and women are different when it comes to information. Men are more visual. So when they tell a story they stick to just the basic information: who, what, when, where. And if they could show you instead of tell you, they would. Women are more into language. They believe the minute details are just as important as the bare facts. For instance, if they tell you about something that happened to someone at work, they will go into a million details because they feel it's important to give as complete a picture of the person they're talking about as possible. "So I was at work and Janie, she the one that was going out with Steve... I know you don't know Steve, but he's this really big guy who sneezes a lot... anyway, Janie comes into the office at 9:15. now she's usually there at 8:45, so we knew something was wrong when we didn't see her brown coffee mug sitting on her desk. So when she comes in, she's wearing her blue blouse, with these little flowers, and trust me, when Janie is wearing that blue blouse with the flowers you do NOT want to talk to her that day..."

It's sort of the same reason why a lot of men like porn and women like romance novels. Women like details, the background info, the whole story. Men just need the woman to walk into the room, drop her drawers and get down to business. We don't need a story. Women want to know, "Well, if that guy is the plumber, then won't he have to go on another call in a few minutes? I mean, how can they have an enjoyable time if he has to answer his pager, go back out the truck and drive across town..."

That's just my theory...

there is not any solid learn info of a correlation between bipolar affliction and "getting faith" interior the middle years. A bipolar affliction is an affective affliction (e.g., important temper swings) and is no longer many times linked with a theory affliction or delusions till one happens to be experiencing a manic state or severe melancholy (even then no longer inevitably). those with schizophrenia, schizo-affective affliction, and a few of you greater severe character problems (e.g., schizoid, borderline, schizotypal) could have a theory affliction, delusions, and auditory hallucinations. often times (yet no longer for all time), their idiosyncratic ideals have sturdy non secular institutions. the 1st "psychotic wreck" often happens interior the previous due young little ones to early 1920s. curiously, there's a physique of learn which shows a sturdy association between psychological wellbeing and a feeling of spirituality or faith. the actual DSM IV "acid-try" is ideal to the outcomes. Does it inhibit or compromise social/vocational/interpersonal functioning in some significant way? If no longer, it would not be considered pathological. In different words, there's no longer something inherently pathological appropriate to the amazing perception which you met an angel. the debate over with in spite of in case you and tens of millions of theistic "others" are deluding yourselves or no longer, will in all risk in no way be thoroughly settled. it could be lots greater helpful to concentration on your point of functioning and not be too caught up in labels like "bipolar" that's many times over clinically determined and shall we no longer circulate overboard with the belief of "magical questioning". A perception in a vist from an angel isn't adequate to qualify. (it is comming from an atheistic-leaning agnostic). Plus, all of us have some degree of magical questioning. solid success!
