I have a girl friend for now 5 months. I'm kind of submissive to her. And I want to learn how to be more of a challenge. Ex.: Wait for her to call me instead of me calling her. I need ideas, options... Thanks

There's an old expression - you want what you can't have. Make yourself unavailable at times (but not too unavailable). Don't answer every phone call from her right away, don't answer every email or im right away. Make sure to have a legitimate excuse for each time. This isn't like cooking a burger on the grill, it's more of a crock-pot slow cook. It will take time but slowly you can establish yourself as having more "hand" in the relationship.

Why? Has someone told you to be more macho? Is this change you want to make based on someone telling you you are "submissive", maybe that you should "be a man!"...? I really hope this is not the case because you should know that outside interference into a relationship causes more breakups than anything else. It's too late to be "hard to get" if you've had a gf for 5 months. Why not just be yourself. If giving in doesn't suit you, then don't do it. Let her know how you feel about the way the relationship is going. Stop playing games.

men who see a woman act the way you acted interpret it as being mean, or only obviously letting the guy understand you're literally not fascinated...obviously he is going to bypass on. playing puzzling to get isn't a similar ingredient as playing video games. playing puzzling to get ability no longer being common, or making a guy artwork to get you: showing how powerful you're yet at the same time nonetheless showing activity without making a dedication only yet; yet once you over do it (like you probably did) or provide mixed messages (messing with a guy's head): it truly is no longer playing puzzling to get.

First of all - throw your cell phone away. Then you aren't tempted to call and if she calls you...you can't answer. Talk about playing hard to get. Wear a rubber band around your wrist and everytime you catch yourself being whiny or submissive, snap it and your mind should "snap out of it".

Also, If you don't like your personality when you are with her...then you need to get out of the relationship.

Good luck!

When you guys are going to make plans for later... Tell her to call you, and DON'T call her. Make her live up to her word that she'll call you. I repeat DO NOT call her if you tell her to call you. It just throws you right back in the rut that you're stuck in now.

girls dont like guys who play hard to get, it makes us feel rejected or unwanted....we want to be shown love and affection. Guys like a challenge, not girls, if you do this, she may feel you are pushing her away!
