How do you naturally straight hair curly with a chi straight iron?

I am tired of having naturally straight hair and i wanna curl or make it wavy every once in a while but i dont know how with a chi straight iron...
i need help

make like your straightening it and when you get to the roots curl it into your scalp putting the hair surrounding the iron

you cant really make it wavy with a 'straght' iron...but i have tried it and it works!! its actually alot of trouble and b/c its a straightin iron they may not all come out lookin ailike..just get a chunk of ur hair and go over it with the iron twice or so and then put the iron at the top of ur hair and curl the rest around the iron...and slowly get the iron through the hair and then it should come out bouncy or u kno wavy...i hope i understood ur question for me to answr it!!! if u want a chi wave thingy is much easier!! they work awesome! goood luck

well a chi iron is meant 2 straighten hair not curl it so u might wanna use rollers or a curling iron and hairspray it after u curl it cuz with straight hair the curls last bout an hour then ur hair becomes staraight again but if u put hairspary it'll last sooooooooo much longer...........

Well, grab your hair with the iron and roll it up. It takes a few sec's to take shape. This sounds easy but I suggest you get someone to help you do this.

braid ur hair overnight and take it out in the mornin, itll be wavy
