It's my GF that I have been with for now 5 months. But I'm too nice, too friendly. I do have my own stuff, but she want to think about me every day!

if you really don't want to climb that 'friend ladder' you should start actin' like a jerk to her. just stand your ground and don't give in. if you're tooo nice to her....you'll become a push over....just don't over do it tho or else she'll stop talkin' to you for GOOD. Be strong my dude. it works better than you know. girls love a$%holes =D

Are we talking about a girl you want to get romantically involved with?

Whatever you do, don't let her cry on your shoulder about problems with her boyfriend.

If you're already a friend, I don't know what to tell you. I've been the girl pseudo-friend and it's hard. I would recommend saying something like, "I really like you, as more than a friend" before you get firmly entrenched in that area. Be prepared to hear 'I love you like a brother' Ouch!

The worst though, is when they say "I wish I could find a guy just like you."

Basically the only way to do this in my experience is to be very flirtacious with a girl and kind of be a douche to her. Not to the point to where she starts to hate you or anything, but just enough to let her know that you're not the proverbial "nice guy".

Be an ******! Listen to Leykis. I thought he was nuts, but I have seen it work. I don't really want somebody that it works on. Good Luck!
