I noticed the color of my dog's urine is neon yellow as compared to the other dogs urine. Is this good? He is peeing right next to some in the snow and I noticed a big difference. Anyone know?

Truely, I had the equal challenge with my boxer/lab recently, and when I asked the vet, he said that it could be a number of things, starting from kidney issues, to mild dehydration, to something so simple as the pet food he used to be consuming My puppies urine lightened up really somewhat when we went from feeding him huge parts twice a day to somewhat smaller portions three times a day, and extended his water intake by fairly somewhat. I suppose the simplest thing so that you can do would be increase his water consumption over the next few days (dehydration being the main reason in darkening of urine in animals across the board) , and if it would not loosen up, call up your regional vet if you are nonetheless involved. Simply be certain what brand of meals he's eating, how so much, and if there are some other signs together with it.

Well, the problem is that your dog isn't drinking enough water. You should probably go to the vet because it's not good that it is that bright. It could be an infection. It's not really a big deal though. You're dog probably just needs some water.

If it is more yellow then other dogs, it is probably because it is dehydrated. Encourage it to drink water and always ahve fresh water out.

If it stays a problem though, maybe have it tested.

I wouldn't worry too much though
