No, it doesn't mean you're clingy when you miss your betrothed when he's gone. (You're clingy if you call him day and night, which is especially bad when at work, among other things, but not if you simply miss him.)

Giving him his space when he *does not* ask for it ? Hrmm ... that sounds more like you getting your space whether he likes it or not. It's good to have friends to socialize with outside of the relationship - odds are, you have friends from before the relationship. It would be a "bad girlfriend" thing to insist on space, but not if the method of dealing with it is for both of you to have a "buddy day/night" or two a week.

You are a very kind & thoughtful woman. He outta be glad he's got a G/F like U. It's natural to miss someone U live when they are gone. By no means R U a bad G/F by giving him space so he doesn't have 2 ask 4 it. I think Ur great. I hope he knows it and does special things 4 U because U deserve it. Because of Ur kindness, thoughtfulness & the fact U care & R sweet DO NOT let him take advantage of you. U lady could have anyone U want. U remember that too. I hope I have helped U. Very few guys get a G/F like U.

it's not clingy to miss him, it's clingy to not let him go out, or complain about him having some guy time. If you make him feel guilty for leaving you because you'll miss him or be lonely then it's clingy and needy.
Whether he asks for it or not, give him some space and time for himself - he'll be happier and you'll both reap those benefits.
Guys what to be able to spend some time apart but that doesn't mean they don't miss you either. I thin most girls feel the same way - everyone needs some time to themselves away from significant other to have a healthy relationship

first off---be yourself and not someone's idea or notion of who you should be----no its not being clingy if you miss you fiancee when he is gone--question is how long is he gone? I mean if he leaves to go to the store for milk and you feel the same way I would say you have some kind of control or attachment issue going on---however if you simply miss him when he isn't around then I feel this is quite normal and shows you love him----what exactly do u mean by space? we all need our own space and identities-----good luck----

Missing him is not clingy, what do you DO about it though? That's what makes clinginess.

As for "giving him his space" what does that mean? You leave the house?

Congratulations, you are officially the vaguest poster of the day!!
