She has no infection, yeast or urinary, although she had a urinary infection when she was a puppy. Doc says he can't do anything more for her. I need natural remedies.

How bad is the problem? I have a yellow lab that after a lot of activity - running or swimming - she tends to 'leak' afterwords. My vet does chiropractic adjustments on her (she loves it) and it seems to help. Now, if only I could add her to my benefit plan!

Proin is the standard treatment for incontinence, and is perfectly safe to use. It's quite common in spayed females, though it can happen with any dog. As someone said, you can usually cut the dosage after she has been on it for a while. It's fairly inexpensive too.

I don't know of any natural remedy that would be effective.

It sounds like her incontinence is the result of weak bladder muscles, caused by a lack of estrogen after her spay. This type of incontinence can only be treated with medication, either diethylstilbesterol (called DES, which isn't commercially available because it has been linked to cancer) or phenylpropanolamine (called PROIN, which is the standard drug used these days). Your best bet is to stick with the Proin, or you'll need to get her diapers. I'm unaware of any natural remedy that can strengthen bladder muscles so they can properly contract. Typically you can decrease the dosage/frequency after the dog's been on the drug for a while.

What is incontinent?

Maybe share her symptoms and why she is on drugs in the first place

I think your best option would be to see a holistic vet - they use a lot of treatments that traditional vets don't.
