Benadryl is great for allergic reactions, but it sounds like yours is pretty dangerous. Allergies like yours start out as a throat or tongue swelling but can quickly get worse. Doesn't sound like an allergy, but the acid in the wine could lead to what they used to call canker sores which are very painful. Anbesol from a pharmacy would sooth the soreness, and stay away from oranges and tomatoes temporarily.
