You should at the very least call your vet on this one.

Cigarettes have the same effect on your dog as they have on you. He may have taken in nicotine from licking them (hence the crazy act). Nicotine raises the heartrate and can be fatal - just as it is in humans if too much is consumed too fast. (Not to mention all the other poisons and chemicals found in cigarettes).

I would definitly try to keep her away from cigarettes they are full of chemicals, that could have had a reaction with her.

NIcotine especally could have had this reaction, especally since she is a small dog and nicotine is a stimulant.

Nicotine is a stimulant, so most likely, she got a little "high" from licking the cigs.

My Aussie goes after my husbands cigars if they're within reach or if he leaves one in the ashtray!

Call the vet. Cigarettes are very dangerous to dogs especially if ingested. It can cause rapid heartbeat, vomiting, muscle tremors and can cause death. Keep the cigarettes away from the dog.
