Is there anything else other than picasa that you guys might know about to edit photos, (add color, resize, etc.)??? And that is free?

You can have more than one photo editing program available to you on your computer at the same time and switch back and forth to see which ones you like. Someone else mentioned Photoshop. Adobe offers free trials (usually 30 days) of Photoshop programs like Elements and CS2. Right now Lightroom is free only because it is still in the development stage. I'm sure if you search the web for "free" stuff, you can find just about anything. Also check out www.photo.net and tap into their forums for answers. Good luck

Have a look at the serif website they have a load of free programs to download ( graphics, photoediting etc.) a very reputable site so no problems with spyware etc.......the programs are older versions of the programs they sell now. you have to register but is not really a problem and they do send out some interesting special offers...........You could also look up irfan view. a totally free editing prog.

It isn't free but if you are a student you can get photoshop for £150 instead of £600!!!! which is still expensive - but worth getting

photoshop will forever be the main medium to be honest never heard of that one either probally does some things
