okay i have a girl shih tzu i cant really tell if she is pregnant but she look like it to me and the rest of my family..she went into heat about a month ago and so did my boy lhasa apso but about a couple day's after she went out or whatever.. of heat then my boy lhasa was all over her cuz he was in heat !!!!!!!!!! his lil thing even came out omg it was NAsty but anyways can sum one help any advice would be great r girl dog is about 9months and r boy is about 2yr's old....

She may be pregnant. Anytime you leave a female that's in heat and a male together, there's a chance. Since your female is only 9 mos old, a pregnancy would be risky and very hard on her little body. Take her to the vet and get her spayed. It would be kinder than allowing the little puppy to have pups of her own.

She could be pregnant but you need to actually give some detail about the dog and her behavior. Her appetite may change and her nipples will be bigger and have a more pinkish tint. She may seem grouchy or nervous and seem sort of lazy. She may tire quickly when you are playing with her (fetch or whatever). The biggest thing you should notice by now is the nipples and the appetite. Give her plenty of water and watch her diet closely. Be gentle with her and a little more patient because her patience may dwindle around children or when there are lots of people around she will prob be nervous. Email me if you want more info. Boy dogs do not go into heat, they are always ready. The female is at her most fertile on the 9th to 11th day after she first shows blood. The blood may have stopped by this time. The male might try at other times, but the female will only allow him sex when she is in this fertile time. Give it another 2 wks or so and you should be able to feel puppies if they are there. She will give birth approx 63 days after impregnation.

Obviously you did not hold a near ample eye on her. You will have to be involved. Not most effective is inbreeding a nasty suggestion because it multiplies the most likely hood of inherited genetic sicknesses however your puppy is only a dog herself! Get her to the vet and feature them do an emergency abort/spay and whilst you are at it have the male neutered. There's no purpose this will have to have occurred. Your feminine would die whilst whelping.

ok. i breed shihtzu's and if they were not actually STUCK. together, then no. she probably isnt. if so then, in about 45 days from the day they were stuck her nipples and belly will begin to swell. The vet can check her around 45 days of gestation for puppies. If she is the total time she is pregnant is around 9 weeks. if you have any more questions feel free to e mail me or im me. well female dose stay in heat for total of3 weeks if he was all on her then you have pups feel her stomock if you feel lil bulges theres pup and female dogs only stay pregnet for 63 days count from the day you seen him on her from that day till day 63 is when she will have them so 61 0r 63 days youll have pups

first of all a boy can't be in heat unless he is gay! second, to find out if she is pregnant you have to put her in a silent room just in case she is about to have her baby. also notice if her nipples hang lower or if she starts to get fatter.
p.s. i hope the babies turn out to look b-e-a-u-tiful!

It's your own fault. You should have gotten them nuetered. Because of your own stupidity, this happened. (That was harsh, sorry)
