Your best bet is to drink between 25 and 35 mL of fluid per pound of body weight, daily.
Since you weigh 136 pounds your parameters are: 3400 mL-4760 mL, or 3.4L-4.8L.
This is somewhere between a gallon and a gallon and a half of fluid per day. Remember this is the absolute ideal number to hit. Unless you are somewhere near that now, it will seem like a ton of water at first, but given that your muscles are made of 70% water it is beneficial-believe me.
You will also notice an increase in your performance in any athletic endeavor, because hydration is the biggest key to determining athletic performance.
Note to everyone else: a gallon of water is 128 fluid ounces, not 64.

Your nutrients regimen supplies you the water your body desires. In an time-honored individual nutrients regimen, nutrients supplies you about 20 % of total water intake. the last 80 % comes from drinks you drink. The equivalent of 8x 8oz glasses slightly below ½pint.

You should drink at least 64 oz. of water a day.Don't over do it because you can drink to much a day.The more you sweat the more you need.Get a drink at least every hour for good health. This keeps you kidneys flushed too.
