If you could compare the taste of Colby cheese to any other cheese what would it be?

I have eaten a variety of cheeses but never colby what taste of cheese is it close to? for example velveeta sharp cheddar etc

I find it most similar to a medium aged cheddar.

Yeah, I would say a mild to medium cheddar (always thought that's what it was, maybe just made in one area rather than another)... it's just a little better tasting to me for some reason.
