I'm a lot older than you but my BF lives in Gran Canaria & I am in UK. It's damn hard. Yes my BF talks to females, yes I talk to males but you HAVE to trust each other or it tears you apart. It seems to be other people stirring things rather than your GF being off with you so try to ignore it. I know plenty people who live together & cheat on each other so its not the distance thats really the problem. If you love her & trust her & she loves & trusts you you will get through this.

It's always hard to know that someone else is trying to sabotage your happiness. It sounds like her best friend is the one who's lying. Believe nothing that comes to you by msn! You may be young, and you'll have people telling you that means you haven't a chance, but if you listen to things like that you'll just stay inside till you're 30 and be miserable. Besides, everyone's met old white-haired couples who've been together since they were 17!
Why does it hurt? Because pain makes you stronger and experiencing it now will make it easier to deal with bad stuff that comes your way in later life. Because pain is great for creating beautiful songs and poetry. And because if you never feel pain, there's no point at all in feeling the happiness you experience when you and your girlfriend are together and everything is going well.

Its hard because you are 18 and whenever 2 people get together, if they listened to gossip many would split up, for some reason others feel they can interfere with our love-lives and try to put a spanner int he works, its like they are jealous of your happiness. it will be hard until you can spend more time together to cement the relationship and build trust. Good Luck

It IS tough. You will have people who generally like to try to stir things up, but you need to be strong and tell them you're not interested.

You will get through this if you insist they don't tell you all this stuff.

It is nobody Else's' business.

Best wishes
