how does this work do you put the ornaments inside the plastic bag after you blow the bag up

I assume you're speaking of using a large Ziploc bag, and using a straw to suck the air out, thereby being able to pack more items (such as clothes). You don't even really need a straw. Just use large Ziploc or Ziploc type bags, and than roll them, (starting at the end without the opening) thereby eliminating excess air.

If you're using a straw to suck out air for items that aren't fold-able, just be sure to still cushion these items as they might break in transit.

Greetings - Wrong way around you use the straw to suck the air out of the bag as you place pressure on the bag to decrease the mass. Like a shrink bag

OK no probs ... why dont you use a ziplockbag and a straw to blow the bag up so you can pack stuff

If you're packing something delicate and small I have found the best technique is to wrap it in a shirt and put it in one of your shoes (Not the ones on your feet, the ones your packing). (Shirt provides padding, shoe is a nice firm shell). And there's no plastic bag nonsense to take up room.
