its very upsetting to listen to it, as what has happened is unjustifiable. its also affecting our lives.

Unfortunately there isn't much you can do for your dad but to express your concern for his sanity! He feels it is his moral obligation, maybe because he is the eldest and that's the way he was brought up, to solve his siblings problems. As stressed as he may be after any of these bouts, taking that 'obligation' from him would be in his worst interest. Now, if he has expressed the desire to stop but doesn't know how, you can suggest he see a spiritual guide, such as a priest, pastor, deacon or minister for suggestions on how to get rid of the monkey on his back. As for you, try to keep as isolated from the direct exposition to any of this but keep an eye out for your dad!

Good luck and I hope you both get the peace of mind you deserve.

I would say something to your dad - telling him how much you appreciate him and how you also appreciate the stress he's putting himself thru for his family.
Can't tell you whether to say something to the sisters because I don't know them or the nature of the fights, but I'm inclined to say don't bother with them.

Tell your dad to sever ties with his 2 sisters.

I would stay out of it. Have counselling yourself.Tell your dad how the whole thing is making you feel.

Let dad know how mush you appreciate him. This will give him strength for all the rest of it.
