Why do women like to say that men are afraid of strong women?

I can't stand a loud, obnoxious, man-hating, feminazi, bit*ch. That's why I like asian girls so much. They're calm, and cool. I think they say that men are afraid because they can't stand the idea that men just don't find them attractive. what do you think?

I think the only men who are afraid of strong women are the one's who are either not confident enough in themselves or they're liars and cheaters. A strong woman won't stand for a man who cheats and lies. A strong woman has opinions that she stands by.

I know alot of men who prefer strong women because they're more of a challenge and demand more in a relationship then weaker women.

And just an FYI - don't place personalities in race category. It's rude. Everyone is different no matter what race they are. Saying you like "just Asian women" is stupid. Grow up.

There are some men that are intimidated by women that make more than them, are smarter than them, or anything more than them. Some men feel it is a sign of not being needed. And some of the strong women can come across like that and make the man feel worthless. When in actuality women want love first then the other stupid stuff that drive men crazy.

Strong women don't have to be loud, obnoxious, man-hating etc. etc.

Many strong women are women who have a successful career, take care of themselves, stand up for themselves, form and voice their own opinions etc.

Some - not all - men are afraid of these women because they have to deal with women with independent views.

Many men like women that think for themselves and aren't afraid to support themselves and contribute to a common life, financially as well as emotionally.

Everyone to his own taste, I guess.

I think just like men, some women have a chip on their shoulder. I wouldn't generalize people though. There are many women who do not feel that way. If you have two strong people with strong personalities then you should be fine.

Ok, let's relook at this question. It actually has nothing to do with men at all! It's about women and power in a world where we feel inferior and sometimes taken advantage of. We have to stand our ground, but it has nothing to do with you personally or maybe even if with men of this generation. It's about the man/woman stereotypical relationship that women are trying to break. So don't hate women for being as you say, "man-hating"- they/we are just looking for simple respect.

I agree with you. There is a difference between rude and strong. I'm strong, but usually quiet unless needed. Usually the women that say a man doesn't like a strong women is in denial that she's not a strong women, so much as a B*TCH.

Are you saying that all asians are calm and cool?

I have an asian girlfriend that is the sincerley one of the most aggressive woman I know, as are her sisters and mother, they'd rip your head off, and they take advantage of people left and right.
I'll say to you exactly what I say to my kids...

Well you are entitled to your opinion, but women have to be strong to take care of ourselves, cause it's men like you that won't. Now that is my opinion.
